Questions estimators ask
How accurate is it?
Squaro measures from the dimensions printed on the drawing and shows you which number it used for every room, so you can see exactly where each figure came from. We test it against quotes our own estimators worked by hand. It is built so that you check every line before a quote goes out, and you can change any area or rate in one click.
Will it quote the way I do?
Yes. You set your waste, rounding, doorway and robe allowances, trims, minimum charges and standing extras, and import your own supplier prices. Squaro applies your rules, not ours.
What plans does it read?
PDF working drawings from volume and custom builders, together with the selections or colour schedule. Clean digital PDFs work best. Scanned or photographed plans can be read but are slower to check.
Do you support feet and inches?
Metric plans are supported today. Imperial plans, square-foot pricing and carpet seam layouts for the US and Canada are on the roadmap. Join early access and tell us where you quote.
Who sees my plans and prices?
Only your team. Builder plans and your price books stay private to your account and are never shown to other customers. Plans are used to produce your quotes and nothing else.
What counts as a plan?
One house or unit quoted from one set of drawings. Re-quoting the same plan after a selections change does not use another plan.
